coreNOC, Inc. with partners New J, Blue Arcus and Broadlinc Receives OnGo Alliance Annual Award for State, Local and Education (SLED) Project

coreNOC’s Expertise in Telecommunications Brings private 4G & 5G network solution to increase Internet access, health services, and public safety in rural and low-income parts of Spokane County, Washington.

Owasso, OK, April 2, 2024 – coreNOC, Inc., a leader in innovative technology solutions and Blue Arcus, has been awarded the OnGo in State, Local, and Education (SLED) for its private 4G & 5G network solution in rural and low-income parts of Spokane County, Washington. The award, presented at the OnGo Forward event in Chicago, recognizes coreNOC’s contribution to increasing Internet access, health services, and public safety in these communities.

The OnGo Alliance, an industry consortium promoting LTE and 5G solutions for the US 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS), announced the winners of the OnGo Alliance 2024 Awards at the event. These awards recognize innovations in real-world CBRS solutions and their business impact.

“The OnGo Annual Awards celebrate trailblazing companies that have harnessed the power of CBRS technology to unleash groundbreaking wireless services and applications, streamline operations through enhanced efficiencies, and elevate user experiences to new heights,” said Alan Ewing, Executive Director of the OnGo Alliance.

coreNOC’s private network in Spokane County includes Fixed Wireless Access outdoor Customer Premise Equipment (CPEs), CBRS routers for emergency vehicles, and CBRS-connected cameras and IoT devices. This network aims to bridge the digital divide by enabling residents to access critical health services and public safety resources remotely via a smartphone, laptop, or tablet application.  The pilot project was funded by a grant from the Washington State Broadband office to Spokane Count through the Broadlinc PDA.

Ben Ealey, Chief Operating and Technical Officer of coreNOC, Inc., commented, “This project was very rewarding because we brought high-speed connectivity to unserved and underserved areas of Washington State, enhancing the quality of life by providing critical health data in real-time from the patient to the physician. Additionally, providing connectivity to public safety and educational institutions is a key benefit of this project.”

The successful implementation of this project was made possible through a collaborative effort with industry-leading companies including Broadlinc, Blue Arcus, Leax USA, New J WiFiber , and Peak Industries.
