Owasso, Oklahoma and Washington, DC – August 18, 2025
coreNOC, Inc., a Native American–owned provider of turnkey 5G and beyond network infrastructure solutions, today announced it has officially joined Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), the nation’s leading trade association representing competitive, rural, and regional competitive carriers.
coreNOC’s focus is to bring broadband connections to tribal nations, municipalities, rural, and emerging markets, helping bridge the digital divide with affordable, rapidly deployable solutions tailored to underserved communities.
Johnie Johnson, CEO of coreNOC, brings deep ties to CCA and the broader telecom policy landscape. He served nearly nine years on the Board of Directors of Competitive Carriers Association— including terms as Chairman. Said Johnson:
“Joining CCA is both a continuation of a longstanding partnership and a new chapter for coreNOC. I had the privilege of serving on the Board for nearly nine years, including as Chairman, and understand firsthand the value CCA delivers in advocacy, peer collaboration, and industry development. Now, coreNOC will actively contribute to that mission and amplify our efforts to support rural and competitive carriers across the country. I’m truly excited to be back with CCA and reconnect with such a vital community.”
Tim Donovan, President & CEO of CCA, welcomed coreNOC as a new member, commenting:
“We are pleased to welcome coreNOC and are delighted to have Johnie Johnson return to the CCA community as a member. coreNOC’s innovative, cost-effective network solutions offer scalable technology that can benefit our members — especially those serving emerging, rural, and tribal markets. This partnership strengthens our ecosystem and reinforces our commitment to advancing connectivity everywhere”
As part of its CCA membership, coreNOC looks forward to engaging with both old and new clients at the upcoming CCA Annual Convention, taking place September 15–17, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas (ccamobile.org).
Johnson added:
“We look forward to reconnecting with clients and partners — both long-standing and new — at the annual meeting in San Antonio. It’s a great opportunity to share how coreNOC can continue to deliver affordable, scalable network deployments, and to explore further ways to support the competitive carrier community.”
