Creates Attractive One Stop Shop for Fixed Wireless and Mobility Solutions Ideal for Rural and Tribal Communities
Plano, TX, and Owasso, OK [June 4th] – Baicells Technologies, a global provider of 4G LTE and 5G NR network infrastructure, has partnered with CoreNOC Inc., a Native American Owned Business and a one-stop-shop of turnkey network solutions and support, to better connect underserved and unserved communities across rural America. The new combination will offer transformative wireless solutions using 5G technology to enable all kinds of use cases like video streaming, remote learning, telehealth, voice calls, IoT, and more.
CoreNOC, Inc. will gain access to and offer Baicells proven networking solutions and its portfolio of 3GPP based products, including 4G and 5G Radios, cost leading CPE, and Mobile Core to its clients, channel partners, and its wholesale Virtual Network Enabler subsidiary, Covenant Telecom. Many of these networking solutions are already deployed in similar environments like the City of Longmont, CO; school districts across the state of Utah; and the Tohono O’odham tribe in southwest Arizona.
The pairing up of these two organizations is highly complementary, creating a team with an attractive solution offering and support, that is experienced in serving these types of communities. In short, it becomes very easy for communities new to these technologies or operating with limited resources or short on skills to still get all the benefits these networks offer.
Baicells solutions are known for friendly economics and operational simplicity, meaning fast time to service with their lightweight deployment and service model but without sacrificing functionality.
The timing behind the agreement is ideal as the availability of multiple broadband funding programs like BEAD has made getting these communities connected with the latest in technology much easier. Already the team has started new projects for communities in the state of WA serving first responders, cities, and school districts. Increasingly access to the Internet is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline and even today, some estimates have over 25% of rural America still lacking affordable access to this utility and even a higher percentage in tribal communities.
“We are truly excited about what this new solution portfolio can offer for our partners and customers – the innovation and friendly economics will make advanced connectivity a new reality for so many of these underserved communities.” Said Ben Ealey, CoreNOC’s COO. “This is a win-win for us and more importantly, for our many clients.”
Baicells will be participating at an open house event June 7th in the town of Spangle, Washington just south of Spokane, alongside CoreNOC, and others: New J who design, deploy, and operate cellular networks and Peak Industries, experts in mobile network infrastructure. The event will help communities get first-hand knowledge of, and the opportunity to talk to experts on how these solutions can make an impact and benefit their communities. This is an event open to the public.
